Day 1: Tana

Upon arrival into the capital city of Madagascar, known as Tana, clear customs and meet Ortour representative for transfer to Anjary Hotel (midrange) or at Palissandre (top) for overnight

Day 2: Tana - Morondava

Take a flight to get to the western part of Madagascar. Morondava is the capital of ‘Sakalavan' i Menabe', western part of Madagascar. There are a lot to do in the surrounding of Morondava. About 15 km north of Morondava is the famous Baobab Avenue known as the ‘Allée de Baobab' (Baobab Alley). The best times to visit are at sunset and sunrise, when the colors of the trees change. The reserve of Kirindy covers approximately 10 000 hectares. The reserve is home to six species of lemurs, 32 reptiles and turtles. Overnight at Renala Sable d'Or (midrange/Top)

Day 3: Morondava - Tsingy

Leave Morondava and drive to Tsingy. The Tsingy is 152 000 hectares (66 630 hectares of which have national park status) is one of the largest protected areas in Madagascar. The Tsingy is a vast forest of rugged and eroded karst pinnacles. There are about 90 species of birds, 8 species of reptiles and 11 species of lemurs

Day 4: Tsingy

Full day visit at both small and big Tsingy. There is a broad canyon which is crossed by a swinging suspension bridge. Amid all this grey are splashes of green from the Pachypodiums and other succulents. And there is plenty of wildlife too, expecting to see long eared owls perched on a branch. In the forests there are troops of Decken's sifaka and red fro,ted brown lemurs

Day 5: Tsingy - Morondava. Drive back to Morondava.

Day 6: Fly from Morondava to Antananarivo.

Day 7-8: Tana - Andasibe

Morning drive to Andasibe where tourists are expected to see and meet the biggest quasi-untailed lemur known as the Indri (indri indri). Andasibe is a rainforest area covered of 810 ha; the national park of Analamazaotra often referred to Périnet is the Indri's home. Indri is quite common to spot because of its amazing call that you can hear 2km away.

Stay at Hotel Feon'ny Ala (midrange) or Hotel Vakona (top)

Day 9-10: Andasibe - Manambato - Palmarium

Leave Andasibe to Manambato; take the boat to Ankanin'ny Nofy. This is a relaxing place, with its lovely seaside and lakeside full of vegetation. The palmarium is more than relaxing place because you can visit the small private reserve of palmarium in which the lemurs are easy to find.

Day 11: Ankanin'ny Nofy - Toamasina - Mahambo

In the morning, leave Ankanin'ny Nofy and take a boat to go to Toamasina. Drive from Toamasina to Mahambo. Mahambo is a coastal village which is 84 km north of Toamasina; it is very notable for its beautiful beach (it is safe for swimming) and for its striding vegetation, rich of seafood.

Stay at Hotel La Pirogue (high midrange) or at Hotel Ylang ylang (midrange)

Day 12-13-14: Mahambo - Soanieranivongo - Sainte Marie

Morning boat riding from Soanierana Ivongo to go to the Island of Sainte Marie at 9:00 am to Sainte Marie which is a small paradise of beach and a good place to see whales. Stay at North la Crique and the South Iles aux Nattes.

Day 15: Sainte Marie - Tana

Fly back to Antananarivo. The end of the trip
