Taolagnaro / Fort Dauphin and its surroundings - Madagascar - for 5 Days
Day 1: Tana
Arriving at Ivato international airport, clear customs and meet Ortour Guide; transfer to Anjary Hotel (midrange) or at Palissandre (top) for overnight.
Day 2: Tana - Fort Dauphin - Berenty
Take a flight to Fort Dauphin. Upon arrival at southern tip of Madagascar, direct transfer to Berenty Reserve. Stop along the way to see the unique baobab trees, rare three-cornered palms and funerary art of the Malagasy burial grounds. Overnight at Gite d'Etape
Day 3: Berenty
Full day to visit the reserve with walks along the wide, well swept paths. The lemurs Catta Maki, known as the ring-tailed lemurs are very friendly and seem very happy for photographs. Sifakas are also the main attraction due to their beautiful performing dances. Overnight at Gite d'Etape
Day 4: Berenty - Andohahela - Fort Dauphin
After breakfast, drive to the National Park of Andohahela where the last remnants of rainforest in southern of Madagascar are in the area. Andohahela is known for its three-cornered palm and the ravinala or the travellers palm. There are 120 species of birds as well as 13 species of lemurs; the forest of the park is characterized by diverse categories varying from humid to spiny forest. The park is rich of species of reptiles, amphibians. Overnight at Hotel Lovasoa
Day 5: Fort Dauphin - Tana
Return to the airport for flight back to Tana and waiting for a flight to go home
