Day 1: Tana

Arriving at Ivato international airport, meet Ortour representative and transfer to Hotel Aina/ Anjary Hotel (midrange) or at Palissandre (top) for overnight.

Day 2: Tana - Diego

Early transfer to the airport for flight to Diego Suarez, unique port on the northern tip of the island. Depart for the beautiful and lush national park of Montagne d'Ambre. Enjoy a late afternoon and evening walk, dinner and overnight at Hotel Moramora (midrange) or at Grand Hotel (top) for overnight.

Day 3: Montagne d'Ambre

Morning drive to the northern tip national park of Montagne d'Ambre. Mild walk in the forest to see beautiful orchids, birds, lemurs, invertebrates, and reptiles including the tiniest chameleon known as the Brookesia minima. After the visit, drive back to Hotel Moramora (midrange) or at Grand Hotel (top) for overnight.

Day 4: Diego - Ankarana

In the morning, leave Diégo and drive to Ankarana Reserve. Ankarana is home to many species of lemurs such as the crowned lemurs, Sanford's brown lemurs and different species of birds. Also, it is mostly known for its limestone pinnacles or the Tsingy

Overnight at Chez Aurelien (midrange) or at Relais d'Ankarana (high-midrange)

Day 5: Ankarana

Morning walk in the park to see the beauty of the reserve's Tsingy and to spot many bird species, mouse lemurs hiding in the hole of the tree trunk, and reptiles. Overnight at Chez Aurelien (midrange) or at Relais d'Ankarana (high midrange)

Day 6: Ankarana - Vohemar

Leave the reserve of Ankarana and continue driving to Vohemar. Vohemar is located in the north-eastern part of Madagascar; it has internationally a good reputation for its vanilla good quality. Stay at Sol Y Mar Hotel

Day 7: Vohemar - Sambava

After breakfast, morning drive to go to Sambava. Sambava is a good point to start a trip to Marojejy special reserve. In the area, it is very famous for its exporting products such as vanilla, and coffee. Stay at Orchidéa (high midrange) or at Las palmas (high midrange)

Day 8- 9: Sambava - Marojejy

This area protects 200 types of plants, home to nine species of lemurs, including the aye-aye and the silky diademed sifaka subspecies which is endemic to the region. There are over 100 species of birds. Marojejy is one of the most strikingly beautiful and wild areas of Madagascar. It is unique in the world, a place of dense, jungle rainforests, sheer, high cliffs, and plants and animals found nowhere else on earth.

Camping

Day 10-11: Marojejy - Antalaha

Leave in the morning and go to Antalaha where you could enjoy its splendid beach just close right where the forest meet the ocean. The town of Antalaha is the capital of SAVA region; it is a lovely place, highly recommended for few days relax. Stay at hotel Ocean Momo (midrange / top)

Day 12: Antalaha - Tana

Take a flight back to Tana.
